might be interested to know that Chris will be on the "Megyn Kelly TODAY" show
tomorrow (Wed.) morning. While the show airs at 9:00 am EST, I believe it's
recorded and rebroadcast at 10:00 around here. It's a bit of a long story as to
how this came about, but here's my stab at the short-and-sweet of it. She wrote
an article about her efforts to raise our adoptive son, Kai, who came to us with
a host of issues, and also trying to do this after her rock climbing fall and
subsequent amputation, and submitted it to the Huffington Post. I think she was
looking to have people learn to reach out a compassionate and understanding hand
to folks in tough circumstances much as the parents of the adoptive shooter at
the recent FL high school could probably have used. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P></DIV>

Post responded the same day saying they wanted to publish it and, after some
back-and-forth editing, they posted it last Monday. The producer for Megyn Kelly
contacted Chris (through Leann R., I believe) that same day saying they wanted
her on the show if she was okay with it. Chris said 'Yes' and it's been quite a
flurry of activity since. We had a NBC Chicago-affiliate video team at our home
last Friday telling us to "just be yourselves" with household activities while
they filmed us. I got Chris to the airport today and now she's chillin' in the
Big Apple. I'm going to stay home in the morning and attempt to live-stream it
on our TV at the actual air-time (8:00 for us) and have our kids watch it,
too.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P></DIV>
