The lecture is about autism and Savant Syndrome, and Dr. Grandin is well-known for her own unique abilities with autism. The lecture goes from 7-9pm and is free to the public. I learned a lot about Dr. Grandin while in vet tech school (she has done many studies regarding animal handling and has re-invented a lot of methods for the most humane treatment of animals - cows, pigs, sheep, etc. - going to slaughter).
